Number of new apartments completed grows 10.9% y/y in Jan-July
In January-July 2019, 110,200 apartments were delivered to the market, marking a 10.9 percent increase y/y, statistics office GUS reported. “In the first seven months of 2019, developers handed over 68,200 apartments (15.8 percent more than in the corresponding period of last year, while individual investors completed 39,000 (2.3 percent more than in 2018),” GUS stated in its preliminary report. The number of new apartments under construction also grew, by 3.6 percent y/y in January-July, to a total of 137,400.
