The OECD has raised the 2019 GDP growth forecast in Poland from 4.0 percent to 4.2 percent. It has also increased the 2020 forecast from 3.3 percent to 3.5 percent, the May edition of the “Economic Outlook” report says. OECD economists maintain that CPI and core CPI will in 2020 increase to around 3 percent. The OECD recommends tightening the fiscal policy in Poland. According to the organization, a decrease in the inflow of immigrants is a negative risk factor for the Polish economy. Key positive factors include the acceleration of private consumption growth.
