Orange Poland has agreement with trade unions for voluntary release of 1,000 employees
Orange Polska’s new 2026-2027 social agreement allows up to 1,000 employees to take voluntary departures, representing about 12% of the workforce. The company estimates the program’s cost at roughly PLN 150 million, reflecting higher expected severance per employee. The deal includes salary increases of 5.5% in 2026 and at least 5% in 2027, enhanced compensation for staff nearing retirement, and structured support for job searching and internal mobility.
It also maintains medical benefits, wellbeing initiatives, and the current training budget to help employees develop new skills under Orange’s Lead the Future strategy. For 2026, 540 departures are planned, with defined rules for voluntary exits and employer-initiated redundancies.
