Orange Polska has partnered with Polski Światłowód Otwarty (PŚO) to expand its fiber-optic (FTTH) service coverage to up to 120,000 households. Currently, Orange's services are available to around 40,000 households via PŚO's network, which spans nearly 600,000 homes. PŚO plans to extend its network to cover over 6 million households by 2028, transitioning from DOCSIS technology to FTTH with advanced XGS-PON capabilities, enabling speeds up to 5 Gbps.
This collaboration aligns with Orange's strategy to leverage third-party infrastructure to broaden its broadband reach. Listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Orange Polska provides a range of telecommunications services, including mobile and fixed telephony, internet, and VoIP, and is a part of the WIG20 index.
