ORLEN enters higher level of digitalization with AWS
ORLEN has partnered with Amazon Web Services to accelerate its digital and energy transformation through advanced cloud computing technologies. The collaboration is intended to improve operational efficiency, flexibility, innovation, and cybersecurity across the group. ORLEN plans to migrate IT systems to the cloud and develop cloud-native applications designed for scalability, resilience, and faster deployment.
The partnership also includes the use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, and advanced data analytics across ORLEN’s operations, from energy production and refining to consumer businesses. ORLEN said a multi-cloud strategy will increase technological flexibility and allow the company to select the best available solutions. AWS will additionally provide employee training, certifications, and technology workshops to strengthen digital skills and support the company’s long-term transformation strategy.
