Orlen has opened its first electric vehicle charging hub on the S7 expressway near Olsztynek, marking a major step in its nationwide electromobility rollout. The site features eight fast chargers with a minimum output of 200 kW each and up to 400 kW per station. A dozen similar hubs will open by year’s end, including in Szczecin, Gorzów, and Gruczno, with over 50 planned within two years.

Most hubs will be located at existing Orlen stations, though the first standalone “greenfield” site in Warsaw—offering 12 chargers—is set for mid-2026. The investment, part of the EU-backed “Perun E-mobility” project, will nearly double Orlen’s fastest charging capacity this year. Orlen Charge currently operates over 1,200 charging points in Poland. The company, listed on the WSE and a WIG20 component, posted PLN 296.95 billion in 2024 revenue.
