Orlen Wind 3, part of the Orlen fuel conglomerate, has completed the acquisition of two photovoltaic farms in Lubusz and Greater Poland, as well as a wind farm in Łódź, from EDP Renewables Polska for approximately PLN 1.15 billion. This purchase boosts Orlen’s renewable energy capacity by over 300 MW, increasing its renewable energy output by nearly one-third. The new farms are among the most advanced and are expected to generate up to 400 GWh annually, powering about 182,000 households.

Orlen aims to reach 9 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by the end of the decade, including ongoing developments in offshore wind energy projects.
