Orlen Południe, part of the Orlen Group, has launched its first solar farm at the refinery in Trzebinia, Poland, with a capacity of 1 MW. This new installation adds to the company’s existing 112 MW of installed solar power. The Trzebinia solar farm consists of 2,384 panels, each with a power output of 450 Wp. The investment is part of Orlen’s strategy to enhance renewable energy sources and improve operational efficiency.

This year alone, the company has added nearly 11 MW of renewable energy capacity across various facilities and is developing a new 2 MW solar power plant for the Płock refinery. Orlen aims to lead in modern energy and sustainable practices.
