Orlen has received its 400th LNG cargo at the Świnoujście terminal, bringing total imports via the facility to nearly 31 million tons of LNG, equivalent to over 40 billion cubic meters of gas after regasification. LNG now accounts for about 50% of Poland’s gas imports, significantly strengthening national energy security. According to Orlen, increasing LNG deliveries reflects the company’s growing position in global LNG trade and benefits from diversified supply routes and its own fleet of gas carriers. The latest shipment, delivered by the tanker Aktoras from the U.S., carried around 160,000 m³ of LNG. This year alone, Orlen has already received a record 71 deliveries and now uses over 99% of the terminal’s expanded regasification capacity.

Most LNG supplies come from long-term contracts with Qatar and the U.S., supplemented by spot purchases from countries such as Nigeria and Egypt.
