Orlen's president, Ireneusz Fąfara, announced that the sale of Polska Press will follow a restructuring process lasting approximately a year. Fąfara emphasized the need to first reorganize Polska Press to ensure a fair sale. Orlen is currently analyzing the potential sale of other companies, such as Sigma-Bis and Ruch, as part of its strategy update scheduled for December.

Orlen manages refineries across Poland, the Czech Republic, and Lithuania, conducts retail operations in Central Europe, and engages in oil exploration in Poland, Norway, Canada, and Pakistan. The company also focuses on renewable energy production and natural gas distribution.
