Orlen has signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukraine’s Naftogaz to strengthen cooperation in the LNG sector. The first result is a gas sales transaction involving LNG regasified by Orlen and delivered to Naftogaz.

The agreement aims to enhance Ukraine’s energy security by diversifying gas supplies. Ukraine's extensive gas infrastructure and underground storage position it as a key LNG market. Under the agreement, Orlen will supply 100 million cubic meters of LNG via Lithuania’s Klaipėda terminal, transported through Poland’s GIPL pipeline to Ukraine’s border.

Orlen, a leading energy company in Central Europe, manages refineries, energy production, and gas distribution, with 2024 revenues reaching PLN 296.95 billion. The company is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WIG20).
