Pelion appoints Mark Brzezinski

Pelion has announced that Mark Brzezinski, former U.S. ambassador to Poland, joined its supervisory board in early February. CEO Jacek Szwajcowski highlighted their shared commitment to modern healthcare, innovation, and sustainability.
Brzezinski, expressing enthusiasm for the role, praised Pelion’s 35-year growth, calling it a prime example of Polish entrepreneurship. The company is the largest healthcare provider in Poland and Lithuania and ranks among the EU’s biggest.
Brzezinski served as U.S. ambassador to Poland (2021–2025) and Sweden (2011–2015), earning national honors in both countries. He holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. from Oxford, serves on the Council on Foreign Relations, and was a Fulbright scholar in Poland.
Pelion operates in wholesale, retail, and hospital logistics, with independent business lines overseeing each sector.
