PepsiCo plant in Poland to be most advanced factory in EU
PepsiCo's factory in Święte, Poland, is designed as a paperless facility, utilizing virtual reality for process reporting. Director Tomasz Bronny highlights the implementation of the IWS system, created by Procter & Gamble, which decentralizes management and empowers employees. The factory aims for net-zero emissions by 2035. A significant organizational transformation is underway, creating new roles such as Line Lead, who oversees production areas. The factory is a pioneer in adopting innovative management solutions.
Additionally, a conference, "Nowy Przemysł 4.0," will be held in Katowice on October 15-16, 2024, to discuss the future of industrial production in Poland and technological advancements.
