PGE Obrót and Microsoft sign letter of cooperation in AI

PGE Obrót, a subsidiary of Poland’s largest energy group PGE, has partnered with Microsoft to implement AI solutions aimed at enhancing customer service, sales efficiency, and process quality. The collaboration will focus on pilot projects using tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot and Azure OpenAI to optimize areas such as billing, customer support, sales assistance, and complaint handling.
Successful solutions will later be scaled commercially. PGE Obrót serves nearly 6 million electricity customers, while the PGE Group covers 41% of Poland’s electricity generation and 18% of the heating market. The partnership highlights the accelerating digital transformation in the energy sector and PGE's commitment to innovation and improving customer experience.
