PKP Intercity, the largest long-distance railway carrier in Poland, has sold 1 million tickets through its mobile application launched earlier this year. The app has been downloaded over 650,000 times from Google Play and the App Store. The company is continuously developing the app, adding new features such as the ability to purchase both domestic and international tickets and visually reserve seats. PKP Intercity aims to further expand its remote sales channels by developing the app, modernizing its website, and collaborating with additional partners.

So far, passengers have purchased over 4 million tickets through various external remote sales channels, including Koleo, e-podroznik.pl, and Skycash. In 2022, PKP Intercity served approximately 59 million passengers.
