Polish producer Bvtcher, known for its Bezmięsny and Plenty Reasons brands, surpassed PLN 10 million in revenue in 2024, marking a 20% year-on-year growth. This milestone was driven by an expanded product range and increased exports, with new markets such as Ukraine, Denmark, and Iceland joining its portfolio.
The company introduced seven new products last year, including premium meatless and dairy-free offerings, and plans further category expansion in 2025. Co-founder Rafał Czech highlights cautious strategy adjustments in response to market conditions and consumer needs.
Despite a slowdown in the plant-based food market, which in Poland is now worth over PLN 1 billion, Bvtcher sees long-term growth potential. Challenges include rising labor costs, but Czech remains optimistic, citing the company's resilience amid industry consolidation and ongoing efforts to strengthen domestic and international distribution.
