The zero VAT rate on food will be extended until the end of this year, announced Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki. "Great news to start the holidays! We are extending the zero VAT rate on food until the end of 2023," Morawiecki wrote on his Facebook profile.
"As I announced some time ago, the zero VAT rate, introduced by the Law and Justice government on February 1, 2022, is here to stay," he added. According to current regulations, the 0% VAT rate on food is in effect until the end of June.
