Poland generates most revenue from export of grains, meat, and cigarettes

In the first half of this year, Poland achieved its highest revenues from the export of meat and its products, grain and its processed forms, tobacco products, and dairy products. During this period, the value of food exports reached €25.6 billion, which was approximately 16 percent higher than the previous year, according to the Polish Agricultural Support Center (KOWR), as reported by PAP.
"The increase in the value of Polish food exports in the first half of 2023 was a result of consistently high transaction prices on the international market and the demand for competitively priced and quality products manufactured by the domestic agri-food sector," Marcin Wroński, Deputy Director-General of KOWR, commented.
