Poland Ranks Among Top 10 Global Toy Exporters Despite Market Slowdown

As toys remain the most popular Children’s Day gift in Poland, the country also stands out globally as a major toy exporter. In 2024, Poland ranked 4th in Europe and 8th worldwide, exporting toys worth €2.61 billion, according to Akcenta and ITC data.
Despite a 12 percent y/y decline, reflecting a broader global slowdown, Polish toymakers maintained strong positions abroad. Germany remained the top buyer (€926 million), followed by the Czech Republic, France, the Netherlands, and Austria.
There were notable export increases to China (+392 percent), the U.S. (+13 percent), Hungary (+21 percent), and Spain (+17 percent).
“Despite global challenges, Polish brands like Trefl, Cobi, and Granna remain competitive thanks to quality, innovation, and eco-conscious design,” Radosław Jarema, director of Akcenta Poland, said.
