The Polish government has introduced a new strategy aimed at increasing the internationalization of its economy, strengthening competitiveness, and promoting Polish businesses abroad. The plan, announced by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Development and Technology, will focus on expanding exports, attracting foreign investment, and enhancing Poland’s presence in global value chains.

Key initiatives include:

A coordinated export promotion policy, with an inter-ministerial team ensuring coherence.

The modernization of the trade.gov.pl portal to provide exporters with improved support.

A dedicated “exporter development path” under the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

A focus on 15 priority sectors, including ICT, green technologies, cosmetics, and aerospace.

The strategy also aims to increase exports beyond the EU and boost Poland’s share of high-tech and value-added products in global trade. The measures will take effect immediately after their publication in the Journal of Laws.
