Poland will supply Ukraine with LNG gas from USA
Orlen has reached an agreement to supply Ukraine’s Naftogaz with over 300 million cubic meters of natural gas in 2026. The gas will come from U.S. LNG shipments contracted by Orlen. According to the preliminary agreement, the company will deliver three LNG cargoes in the first quarter of 2026, which will be received at one of the terminals where Orlen holds regasification capacity. After regasification, the gas will be transported to Ukraine via existing pipeline connections. The announcement was made during an Atlantic Council conference on transatlantic energy cooperation.
Both sides plan to finalize commercial terms soon. With this deal, the total gas volume covered by Orlen–Naftogaz agreements will reach nearly 1 billion cubic meters.
