Poland's GDP growth to reach 0.1% y/y in 2023

Poland's GDP is expected to grow by 0.1 percent y/y in 2023, and then accelerate to 3.3 percent y/y in 2024-2025, according to EY economists. They believe that with strong wage growth and demand, inflation will return to the target of 2.5 percent in Poland by the end of 2026.
The report pointed out that the disinflationary processes in Poland are progressing very quickly this year and are being driven not only by energy and food but also by base components, including services. EY analysts forecast that inflation will fall below 7 percent y/y by the end of 2023.
