Poland's GDP is likely to grow by over 2% in the coming quarters - Borys

In the coming quarters, Poland's GDP may grow at a rate above 2%, and in the entire 2024, the growth rate could reach 2.5%, said Paweł Borys, president of the state Polish Development Fund (PFR), during the Corporate and Investment Banking Congress in Warsaw.
"I am in the more optimistic camp that we will emerge from the series of shocks in the soft landing scenario, which means that we will cope with inflation in the next two years,” Borys said. He added that in the longer term, in the absence of new shocks, it is possible to return to the GDP growth rate of about 3.5%.
