Polenergia's shareholders endorsed a resolution on the company's authorized capital, paving the way for a share issuance worth up to PLN 3.4 billion from 2024 to 2027. Dominika Kulczyk, Chairwoman of Polenergia's supervisory board, hailed this decision as a milestone, signaling the company's entry into new opportunities, particularly in offshore wind projects. Majority of the funds, ranging from 85% to 95%, will fuel the development of offshore wind farms, with additional allocations for onshore wind, photovoltaic farms, hydrogen, and electromobility projects. The move underscores investor confidence in Polenergia's potential and offshore endeavors, including collaborations with Equinor to develop wind farms in the Baltic Sea, expected to generate energy by 2027 and commence commercial operations by 2028.
