Polish interest in buying property in Spain has surged, with transactions increasing by 13% year-over-year. From April to June 2024, Poles purchased 1,005 properties in Spain—205 more than the previous quarter and 115 more than the same period in 2023. In the first half of 2024, Polish buyers acquired 1,805 homes and apartments, a 9% increase from the first half of 2023.

Poles are now among the top foreign investors in Spain, holding a record 4.63% market share in Q2 2024. The trend reflects a shift in Polish attitudes towards Spanish real estate, driven by factors like the pandemic and geopolitical events. Most purchases are new-build apartments (75%), with significant interest in properties ranging from €450,000 to €4.5 million. Property prices in Spain rose by 6.4% in early 2024, compared to a 18% increase in Poland.
