Poles building maritime security centers and university in Angola
Polish company Quenda is expanding rapidly in Angola, delivering key state projects and involving more than 70 Polish suppliers. It has built two maritime security centers and is completing the third phase of the University of Namibe, a major investment financed by Standard Chartered Bank with KUKE guarantees. Quenda also installs coastal radar and relay stations and advises Polish firms seeking to enter the Angolan market. Owners Małgorzata Szymczuk and Jacek Wasilewski stress that Angola offers vast opportunities due to fast population growth and large infrastructure needs, but requires patience, long-term presence and trusted relationships.
Quenda, active locally since 2016, now manages projects worth over PLN 350 million and continues to secure new contracts.
