In 2025, Poles bought over 3,170 residential properties in Spain, boosting their market share to 4.63%—a record high. This places Poland 8th among foreign buyers, just behind countries like Germany and the UK. The Costa del Sol is especially popular, with safety, sunny climate, and favorable prices being key factors. Spanish media like El Economista highlight Poles “buying up” the coast, viewing property as a secure investment in uncertain times.

Average property prices in Spain remain stable, with €2,300/m² overall and €2,400/m² for new builds. Compared to Polish prices, many Spanish properties—especially those around €500,000–€800,000—offer greater value, lifestyle perks, and over 320 sunny days a year, making them attractive alternatives.
