Most Poles have not seen a clear improvement in their finances over the past year. According to a Santander Consumer Bank survey, 42% said their financial situation was unchanged, while 24% reported improvement and 31% said it had worsened. Younger respondents were more optimistic, with 38% of those aged 18-29 reporting improvement, compared with just 13-14% among the oldest groups. Women were more likely than men to report deterioration. Nearly half of respondents monitor their finances regularly, including 18% who check them daily.

Meanwhile, 72% said they know how much they can save in a typical month without unexpected expenses. The survey covered 1,000 adult Poles.
