According to the report "Current Fears and Concerns of Poles," 93.9 percent of the population fears at least one of 37 potential adverse scenarios. The greatest fear is for the health of loved ones. Weather anomalies, such as heatwaves, hailstorms, heavy rains, and floods, rank second. Personal health concerns are third, while fears of inflation and loss of monetary value have dropped to fourth. A year ago, inflation was the top concern. Fears of war and military conflict in Poland round out the top five. Following closely behind are concerns about rising electricity and heating costs, food price hikes, and declining quality of life.
