Four companies from the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) — PIT-Radwar, Wojskowe Zakłady Uzbrojenia, Jelcz, and Zakłady Mechaniczne Tarnów — will receive nearly PLN 3 billion from the Capital Investment Fund to support the Narew air defense program, the middle layer of Poland’s air defense system. PIT-Radwar will get PLN 1.72 billion to build a new radar and command systems plant near Warsaw; Jelcz will receive PLN 756 million for a new chassis production facility; Tarnów will invest PLN 310 million in expanding weapons and drone-defense systems; and WZU will use PLN 198 million for missile launchers and command units.

The funding aims to strengthen domestic defense capabilities and expand Poland’s industrial and R&D infrastructure.
