Polish army to receive Rosomaks armored personnel carriers

The Polish Army will receive 80 additional Rosomak wheeled armored personnel carriers (KTO) with significant upgrades under the Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) program. These vehicles, produced by Huta Stalowa Wola and WB Electronics, will feature the advanced ZSSW-30 Remote-Controlled Tower System with a 30mm Bushmaster cannon, Spike LR anti-tank missile launchers, and a 12.7mm machine gun.
The Rosomak-L version is 0.6 meters longer (8.4 m total), has increased payload capacity, a new engine, propellers, and wave deflector. These enhancements improve versatility and combat performance. Rosomaks, praised for their reliability in Afghanistan and Ukraine, are vital to Poland's military modernization efforts. The first upgraded units were delivered in 2022 to the 21st Podhale Rifle Brigade.
