Polish Cloud Computing Market Set to Surge by 24% in 2024
The Polish cloud data processing market is poised for substantial growth, with a forecasted increase of 24% year-on-year to PLN 4.8 billion in 2024, following a remarkable 34% surge last year, as projected by research firm PMR.
PMR's latest report, "Cloud Computing Market in Poland 2024," reveals that the market's value reached PLN 3.9 billion in 2023, marking a significant 34% year-on-year rise. Projections for 2024 indicate a robust expansion, nearing PLN 13 billion by 2029.
Despite rapid growth, cloud services still represent a small fraction of total IT spending, but PMR anticipates a steady increase in their share in the coming years. The accelerated adoption of cloud solutions by Polish companies underscores its importance in digital transformation, a trend that shows no signs of slowing down, according to PMR's research. Large companies in Poland continue to allocate significant funds for cloud computing, with 73% planning to increase spending this year.
