Polish LNG terminal celebrates 300th gas delivery

The 300th LNG delivery has arrived in Świnoujście, announced Orlen. The cargo, brought by the tanker Prism Courage from the USA, adds to nearly 24 million tons of LNG received since the terminal's opening.
Most deliveries have come from Qatar (143 loads) and the USA (134 loads). The pace of LNG imports to Poland is increasing, with shorter intervals between deliveries, and the LNG terminal in Świnoujście is currently being expanded.
LNG imports now constitute nearly 50% of Poland's gas imports, up from about 8% in 2016. This diversification ensures energy security and strengthens Poland’s position in the global LNG market. The total volume of the 300 deliveries equals about 358.9 TWh, or over 31.2 billion cubic meters of natural gas.
