Polish optic chain opens up to seven stores per month with 150 already in Europe
Kodano Optyk has more than 120 stores in Poland and nearly 150 across Europe, opening 5-7 new locations per month. The company operates both owned and franchise stores, with 35 franchise outlets and more than 110 owned stores in Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. In 2026, Kodano plans to open more than 50 stores, including in Budapest, Bucharest, Gdańsk, Płock, Warsaw, Gdynia, and Silesia. Owned stores are focused mainly on large cities, while franchise locations target towns with 15,000-20,000 residents.
Its new flagship store in Warsaw’s Złote Tarasy features a strong digital experience, illuminated displays, about 650 frames, Instagram-friendly spaces, and an open eye-exam room.
