The Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported a 13% year-on-year increase in residential property prices in the fourth quarter of 2023, with a quarterly rise of 4.8%. Primary market prices surged by 6.3%, while the secondary market saw a 3.3% increase. Compared to Q4 2022, prices soared by 13%, with primary market rates up by 14.3% and secondary market rates by 11.6%. Residential property prices in Q4 2023 were 91.7% higher than the 2015 average, with primary market prices up by 80.6% and secondary market prices by 100.5%. The Lesser Poland Voivodeship saw the largest quarterly increase (7.9%), while the West Pomeranian Voivodeship experienced a slight decrease (0.4%). The primary market held a weight of 51.8% in the 2023 price index calculation, with the secondary market at 48.2%.
