Polish Students Strike Gold at International Economic Competition
Szymon Jackowski finished top to claim the €1,500 prize; however, this was not the only success recorded by the Polish team. Finishing 10th in the rankings, Jan Bartłomiej Baranowski also earned a gold medal.
Silver medals, meanwhile, were won by Patrycja Smentoch, Wiktor Kocur, and Szymon Sobiech, ensuring that the Polish delegation topped the team rankings.
“These were two very demanding days for our competitors as the level of competition was extremely high. However, thanks to making the appropriate preparations and the commitment of the students, we were able to achieve a historic result for the Polish team,” Radosław Ślusarczyk, the coordinator of the Polish team, said.
