Polska's Developer Teams Ranked Among Most Efficient Globally

A study conducted by technology experts Yegor Denisov-Blanch and Simon Obstbaum at Stanford University suggests that Poland hosts some of the world's most efficient developer teams. Alongside Polish engineers, Brazil and Romania also stand out for their productivity. Their algorithm, based on innovative research, reveals that teams in these countries surpass the global average by approximately 50%. The analysis, conducted on large, independent developer teams across various locations worldwide, indicates a consistent performance level across nations.
This study emphasizes the importance of using objective metrics in assessing programming teams, highlighting the need to focus on team productivity rather than individual output. Traditional productivity indicators like lines of code or number of approvals often fail to accurately measure developer productivity, making it essential to adopt more comprehensive evaluation methods like the algorithm developed at Stanford University.
