Poznań, Kraków, and Wrocław among the most polluted cities in the world
Poznań ranked second in the Air Quality Index (AQI) air pollution ranking. Kraków and Wrocław were ranked fifth and sixth, respectively. Warsaw was ranked eighteenth.
These four cities from Poland are included in the international air pollution ranking. The ranking shows the level of pollution in 100 cities.
Polish cities regularly appear in the ranking. For example, in February 2023, Kraków ranked sixteenth in the AQI. Wrocław was ranked forty. Warsaw was then ranked 44th.
