Presidential business council formed
President Karol Nawrocki has launched a Presidential Business Council to advise on legislation and help Poland overcome the “middle-income trap.” He said the body will support closer cooperation between entrepreneurs and the state while offering formal opinions on economic policy.
Nawrocki highlighted the role of business in Poland’s progress over the past 35 years, citing innovation, entrepreneurship, and strategic decision-making as key drivers. He also linked future growth to regional cooperation across NATO’s eastern flank, the Bucharest Group, and the Three Seas Initiative, which spans 13 countries and 130 million people.
Members include leading executives such as Rafał Modrzewski, Mateusz Staniszewski, Jarosław Królewski, and Krzysztof Pawiński. The council is the 13th advisory body under the presidency.
