Production of crude steel in Poland is falling
The production of crude steel in Poland in May 2019 amounted to 830,000 metric tonnes, which means a decrease of 5.8 percent y/y, the World Steel Association informed.
In the January-April period, production amounted to PLN 4,156,000 tonnes, by 5.2 percent less in annual terms. In 2018, production amounted to PLN 10,165,000 tonnes, or 1.6 percent less y/y.
