Profits of non-financial enterprises up by 7.5% y/y in 2019
The financial result of non-financial enterprises in 2019 increased by 7.5% y/y up to PLN 121.2 billion, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) announced.
As much as 81.8 percent of all enterprises turned a net profit which amounted to total PLN 143.6 billion and was 4.2 percent higher than that obtained in 2018.
On the other hand, the net loss amounted to PLN 22.4 billion and decreased by 10.7 percent.
The data presented by the GUS refer to 17,739 non-financial enterprises keeping accounting books, in which the number of employed amounts to 50 people and more.
