Prosperity Index ‘down’ in January
The Prosperity Index, reflecting the economic condition of Polish society, fell in January, the Investment and Economic Cycles Office (BIEC) said.
BIEC reports that the downward trend has been observed for almost two years.
“Its current lower values are mainly due to two factors: a reduction in the wage growth rate and rising prices of consumer goods and services,” the press release states.
