Re-export of clothing and game consoles lead export growth

According to the National Bank of Poland (NBP), Poland’s exports grew in Q2 2025 mainly due to higher sales of consumer goods, especially re-exports of clothing and video game consoles. Exports of semi-durable and non-durable goods rose by 8% y/y, reversing the earlier downward trend. Clothing exports increased by 18%, with Germany as the main market (43.6%). Console exports surged 2.5 times, also led by sales to Germany. Passenger car exports rebounded by 10.8%, driven by hybrid vehicles (HEV and PHEV).
However, exports of durable consumer goods dropped 5.8%, marking the tenth consecutive quarterly decline, mainly due to falling TV exports (–20%) and lower sales of hearing aids. Furniture and household appliances remained stagnant.
