Recovery from crisis to take several quarters: entrepreneurs

Owing to the restrictions associated with combating the coronavirus crisis, the rate of increase of losses per day slowed down to PLN 1.66 billion from PLN 2.15 billion, show results from the updated loss counter which the Warsaw-based Federation of Polish Entrepreneurs (FPP) maintains together with the Lewiatan Confederation.
Data shows that the Polish economy has been “defrosted” by nearly 23 percent. Only during the last week, defrosting measures prevented the loss of PLN 3.4 billion of Polish GDP, stated experts. FPP has indicated that it will take several quarters to recover from the ongoing crisis.
The Lewiatan Confederation state on their website that “they are the most influential Polish business organization representing the interests of employers in Poland and the European Union.”
