Report: Kraków has become a significant global IT hub
In recent years, Kraków has emerged as a significant global IT hub, employing approximately 60,000 specialists with a projected employment growth of over 6% this year, according to a Tuesday-published IT market report for the capital of Małopolska. The "Kraków IT Market Report 2024," compiled by consulting firm MOTIFE and the ASPIRE association, highlights American companies' substantial role in shaping Kraków's IT potential, employing more than one-third of its tech workforce.
Despite notable layoffs in the tech and business services sectors this year, Kraków remains a pivotal European technology hub, attracting new international IT players and fostering innovation-driven growth supported by city leadership's proactive engagement with business and academia.
