In the first half of 2024, Poles registered 145,000 vehicles with alternative engines, a 39.4% increase from the same period in 2023, according to a KPMG report. The rise was mainly driven by hybrid vehicles, while electric vehicle growth slowed. Overall, 277,000 personal cars were registered, up 16% y/y, with a significant increase in premium brands (23% up to 71,400 units) and a 13.8% rise in popular brands (205,600 units).
