As many as 64 percent of micro-entrepreneurs admit that payment gridlocks are a serious barrier for them. They block investments and prevent their own liabilities from being settled, according to a report titled "Portfolio of receivables of Polish enterprises" prepared by the National Debt Register (KRD) and Conference of Financial Enterprises (KPF).
“Payment gridlocks are the problem that affects the microenterprise the most. An effective way to reduce this phenomenon may be removing the ban on the assignment of receivables,” KRD’s statement reads.
