Report: uncertainty is growing in Polish job market

Rising technological pressure and economic uncertainty are reshaping Polish employees’ career decisions, according to Michael Page’s “Talent Trends 2025” report. Active job seeking dropped by 14 percentage points y/y, and fewer workers are requesting raises, with only 19% receiving approval. Despite a 5.2% unemployment rate, employees feel insecure and increasingly value flexibility—40% would change jobs if office attendance requirements increased. Rapid workplace changes driven by AI adoption (47% of workers) intensify this shift.
Trust and transparency are critical: 77% fear employer monitoring, and many cite insufficient clarity in decision-making and communication. Companies that build reliable, transparent environments can foster engagement, retain talent, and remain resilient in a volatile labor market.
