Retail sales in Poland grew by 5.4% y/y in August - Eurostat

Seasonally adjusted retail sales in Poland increased by 5.4 percent y/y in August, Eurostat reported. On a monthly basis, retail sales in Poland grew by 0.4 percent. In the entire European Union, retail sales increased by 0.2 percent on a monthly basis, while on an annual basis the growth was 2.5 percent.

According to the Polish Central Statistical Office (GUS), retail sales at constant prices increased by 4.4percent y/y in August, while at current prices the growth was by 6 percent y/y.
