Retail sales in Poland in May increased by 11.2% year-on-year after an increase of 21.1% in April, Eurostat reported. In monthly terms, sales fell by 0.8%.
The annual figures have been adjusted for the number of working days, and the monthly figures are also seasonally adjusted.
Eurostat data includes the smallest companies with less than 10 employees, such as small family stores, but does not include car sales.
